Dive Cylinder Servicing

Are you an avid scuba diver looking for the perfect diving cylinder for your underwater adventures? Look no further! Our online store offers a broad selection of scuba diving cylinders, ranging from small emergency cylinders to large-capacity dive cylinders and twinsets. But, just like any other equipment, diving cylinders need to be periodically serviced to ensure they are in top-notch condition for your next dive.

We understand that waiting for your equipment to be serviced can be a pain, which is why we strive to provide a quick turnaround time. Our standard turnaround for scuba cylinder servicing takes approximately ten working days, so you can get back to exploring the depths of the ocean in no time!

It's important to note that current regulations require scuba diving cylinders to undergo visual testing every 2½ years from the initial factory test. Visual testing includes checking for corrosion, dents, bulges, cracks, and the general state of the cylinder and its valve. Additionally, scuba diving cylinders must be hydrostatic tested and valve serviced every 5 years to meet the latest UK and EU standards.

To prepare your scuba diving cylinder for service with higher oxygen fills, it's crucial to have it O2 cleaned. O2 cleaning is achieved by washing a scuba tank thoroughly with special chemical solvents to remove any impurities, oils, and other unwanted hydrocarbon particles that might be flammable in a high-oxygen environment. During the cleaning process, your scuba cylinder valve is also cleaned and receives O2-compatible o-rings such as Viton o-rings.

So, what are you waiting for? Get your scuba diving cylinder serviced and O2 cleaned today, and let's make your next dive a memorable one!
