"The Suunto Zoop Novo Dive Computer is the perfect gift to give to any new or experienced diver, Its light weight and just super simple to use, whether you are starting out, need a back up or only dive on holidays. Is one of those items you can pick up and just use no need for lengthy instructions. However if you do forget, there is a handy ISO download for how to use! AND… it comes in three colour options (I LOVE the BLUE!) great size screen as well visible in all conditions! Its comes in a box - so super easy to wrap and pop under the tree ;)"

"Spiel: For this year my gift recommendation would be the 360observe mirror! This little mirror is a great gift for the diver who thinks they have it all! Being able to look over your shoulder in any circumstance is invaluable, in motorcycling, this is called a "life saver" and for a good reason. This little piece of easy-to-store, easy to wear kit allows you to "observe" and increase situational awareness, whether an instructor (keeping an eye on pesky divemasters and students), tech divers (bubble checks) or recreational divers (buddies and snag hazards), With the bungee, strap its easy to replace if worn out or to personalise! and super easy to wear on a hand or wrist in any dive situation!".

As my little gadget, I pick for this Christmas the Suunto Clipper Compass as a great little item that can be used as a backup not only in scuba diving but also in your hiking adventures. An invaluable navigation tool for diving, the Suunto Clipper compass can be clipped to a dive computer or watch strap readily available. I have been well-behaved this year, so I am hoping good Santa will bring me a Shearwater Perdix 2 Dive Computer. I love Shearwater Dive Computers, and if I had to pick one, it would be the Shearwater Perdix 2 Titanium Dive Computer :-)".

"Ahh 360observe Mirror its a popular choice! In this case I pick the Waterproof G1 3mm 5 Finger Diving Gloves would be my other choice. As someone who struggles with their hands in cold waters, the 5mm thickness provides loads of warmth but its not restrictive. You have plenty of dexterity for using tools and cameras underwater. They are super easy to get on and off with the wrist zip and glideskin seal while the pre-bent fingers gives a really comfortable flexible fit".

"These are the items that I would love to receive for Christmas:
- Upgrading diving gear with Miflex Hoses - they come in different colours, and they are a fantastic way to make your scuba diving gear stand out
- I love tropical diving, its fabulous colours and abundance of fish, so my top pick for tropical water diving is the Fourth Element 3mm Women's Shortie Wetsuit.
- The standard silicone straps are not the best for someone with long hair, so one of my top gifts for scuba divers must be Tusa Mask Strap Cover - It stops your hair from getting tangled to the strap adds to the comfort of your mask.

For the top pick for divers this Christmas, I woudl pick Scubapro Trinidad3 Mask - a lightweight, frameless mask with a single lens design and a brand new one-hand quick adjustment buckle system allows you to adjust the mask strap very quickly. It comes in four different colours but don't tell anybody my favourite is pink ;-). Another item I like to have on my BCD is the humble Scubapro Magnetic Octopus Holder - if needed, helps access your Octopus in no time, which is a great help when running open water drills with my students!".
If you were really good this year, I woudl pick the Garmin Descent MK2i Dive Computer; I have been using one for some time and love it as an everyday watch, fully loaded technical dive computer and the best fitness watch to date!

This year, my top Christmas pick for scuba divers is the Garmin Descent G1 SOLAR Dive Watch and Computer. If you are looking for a watch-size dive computer in the mid-price range, you can't beat this as a present. It features all the options from the Garmin Mk2i, but it is half the price and will be an excellent choice for somebody who likes smaller dive watches. Thanks to the SOLAR technology, the battery life is amazing, and it can run without cable recharge for months.
From smaller, handy items I would pick as a gift is the Scubapro Signal Decompression Buoy is ca. 130 cm long and comes with a blue bag and a little weight for better stability of the buoy at the surface along with a 9.5m length of nylon string. I use it with the Scubapro Multi Purpose Reel, which is excellent for general diving and super easy to use.

As I enjoy sidemount diving, my dream Christmas gift pick for a scuba diver would be the Scubapro Mk19 with Scubapro G260 Regulator Set. I love the air-balanced system, plus being able to achieve left or right hose attachment options is an appealing choice for anybody diving technical or sidemount configuration.
The Mares XR Ceramic Line Cutter is an invaluable safety tool and one that no diver should dive without - so I pick this as one of my top gifts for Christmas. If you want to have something more versatile get the Scubapro Jawz Ti Rescue Dive Knife - this multi purpose rescue tool is used by fire emergency, rescue and military services worldwide.

I really want to do more technical diving in the future, and I only recently tried the Scubapro S-Tek Pro System and loved the ultimate feeling of freedom. The built-in quality is first-class, and I am loving it!
From smaller items, I recommend Scubapro Hydros Cargo Thigh Pocket - a fabulous thing to store your spare mask or SMB with a reel.
Steve's Top Gift for Scuba Divers
Prescription Mask is an essential bit of my scuba diving gear - thanks to the prescription mask, I can enjoy scuba diving to the fullest. This year's favourite scuba present is the Scubapro D-Mask - The best, most compact, low-volume prescription scuba mask. I love that it is factory fitted with UV +420 cut lenses, filtering out high-energy visible and ultraviolet light without affecting colours underwater. This is one of the best all-around masks I use for all my freediving and scuba diving. The Scubapro D-Mask can be fitted with Minus, Plus prescription lenses and Gauge Readers if necessary. Also, D-Mask can be customised with different colour frames with Scubapro D-Mask Colour Kits. Best present for Christmas this year!
Prescription lenses can be added to this product. Configure your Scubapro D-Mask prescription mask using our Mask Builder, which makes it easy to choose the correct prescription lenses.
