The legendary Scubapro Jet Fin has been setting a benchmark for all modern jet fins since its introduction in 1965. Inspired by the original combat frogmen fin, Jet Fins offer excellent power transfer and manoeuvrability in all diving conditions, be it blue water, wreck, cave recreational and technical diving.

The Jet Fin may be a heavy-duty fin, but it delivers just the right amount of power and manoeuvrability. The Jet Fin uses a durable rubber construction and beefy shape but features a proven vented design that decreases drag on the up stroke and enhances thrust on the down stroke. Nukeproof built, short and wide blades, and jet vents make these fins an excellent choice for recreational and technical diving!

The well-known Scubapro Jet Fin comes in 4 colours: Jet fin BlackJet fin Blue CamoJet fin White Camo and Jet fin Navy Camo. There are also replacement Jet Fin Spring Straps available for purchase.

What is a Scubapro Jet Fin in Black?

Jet fins evolved from the standard fins scuba divers used before - these were made out of rubber and had retaining rubber heel straps and often shoe-type laces on the foot pocket to make them fit more comfortably. The first company that brought the jet fin into our current shape was Scubapro - back in 1965. Since then, it is estimated that Scubapro has sold hundreds of thousands of jet fins, and the design has mostly stayed the same. The US Navy endorsed the jet fins; subsequently, many worldwide navies opted to use them in their operations.

Scubapro jet fins are often the number one choice for technical divers, scuba instructors, the commercial sector, and the military. Still, they are also becoming increasingly popular in recreational diving.

Scubapro Jetfin weight: Medium-2.38kg / Large-2.54kg / XLarge-3.22kg / 2XLarge -3.27kg.

Scubapro Jet Fin Black Features:
  • Usually heavier than other fins but this aids in diving in a drysuit
  • Moulded from one piece of rubber makes them almost indestructible.
  • A short blade is excellent for diving from the boat
  • A short blade is a must for overhead and confined spaces scuba, such as a cave, cavern, or wreck diving.
  • Excellent power transfer with a stiff paddle blade design
  • Employment of vents to improve water flow and reduce the drag
  • Generous foot pocket for drysuit diving
  • Well built with heavy-duty spring straps - fewer points of failure and should last a lifetime
  • Stainless steel spring heel strap promising a lifetime of use.
