Mares XR-Rec Trim Single Backmount Set's backplate is made of 3mm marine-grade aluminium and reduced into a skeleton backplate, reducing the rig's weight. Saving up to 40% on weight makes the set highly suitable for travelling divers - weights little, packs small, trims extremely well - fabulous rig for ultralight travel. The whole rig comes with a dedicated single tank adapter cut out of 3mm aluminium to match the backplate's design and two branded tank straps. Well, to be honest, with only 2.8kg for the entire set, this may be one of the lightest single tank back-mounted diving sets on the market.
The bladder is an integral part of every buoyancy system; therefore, Mares XR-Rec Trim Single Backmount Set has a trim aiding doughnut style bladder. The bladder offers a 17-litres of capacity and is covered with a highly wear-resistant 1000D Cordura. The lower part of the bladder is longer in the lower back area than traditional bladders for greater buoyancy. The bladder is equipped with an ultra-fast short hose inflator with high-quality metal buttons.
The whole package is completed with Mares XR branded 50mm harness with shoulder clips, multiple d-rings, retaining crotch strap and extra comfortable padding. The Mares XR-Rec Trim Single Backmount Set's shoulder straps are independent of the waist belt to make customising the XR-Rec Trim quick and easy.

Mike's Dive Store offer an extended returns policy of 60 days - so you can be rest assured if the suit, piece of diving equipment or gift doesn't suit then just send it back, and we will either exchange it or offer a full refund less any postage costs. Too easy!

We offer the option for customers to choose ‘Pickup in store’ as a shipment method, allowing your order to be picked up from our Chiswick store at a time and date that works for you (within our business hours). The process is really easy, but we'll run through it here:
Step 1 - Add products to your cart:
Browse our vast selection of diving and snorkelling equipment, adding the kit you want to your cart.
Step 2 - Head to your cart:
Click on the cart icon to see a summary of the items you are about to purchase.
Step 3 – Review Your Order and Proceed to Checkout:
Once you're satisfied with the items in your cart, you can add a note to your order under the "Order Summary" section if desired. When you're ready to proceed, simply click "Checkout" to complete your order.
Step 4 - Customer Information:
If you have a Mike's Dive Store account, simply log in to autofill your details. If not, enter your email address, select ‘Pickup in Store,’ and then click ‘Continue to Payment’ to proceed.
Step 5 – Payment & Billing Details:
Select your preferred payment method and enter your payment information. Below, provide your billing details. If you're logged into your account, please double-check that your billing and contact information are up to date.
Step 6 – Review Order:
After entering your payment details, click ‘Review Order’ to proceed with placing your order. You will receive an email confirmation with your unique order number. We will notify you when your order is ready for collection, usually within 4 hours or sooner during our opening hours (Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM). Please note that our hours may vary during the Christmas and New Year periods.
